Objectives and Tasks

Stiftung Interkultur was established in 2003 as a project of the foundation association, anstiftung & ertomis and wants to contribute to a new understanding of social integration. They react on impulses from the immigrant community for shaping  society.
As a nationwide service and coordinating point for the now more than 130 projects in the network of the intercultural gardens, Stiftung Interkultur takes on the following tasks:

It advises them on the creation and development of gardens, provides knowledge and experience from other projects in a summarized form, evaluates and researches the project practices, coordinates a research network combines and enriches different discourses on immigration and intercultural subjects, illustrates the potential of self organization and DIY initiatives, especially in the immigration debate, publishes a set of reports and newsletters,
publishes the results of its research in their own and in trade publications, organizes knowledge exchange in politics and science, promotes the projects financially organizes networking meetings and conferences and facilitates the exchange of experience and knowledge sharing in the projects themselves as part of training seminars and workshops.
